Spareslot
Open-spot texts

Got a spare spot?

Tell Spareslot you are out. It offers your court time, class or client session to your regulars, then your backups, by text, and tells everyone once it is taken.

Your people never need the app. Spareslot, a BuckFifty product published by Favorably Inc., is in a small beta. To try it, ask for an invite.

One tap, done

Tap I'm out. Spareslot knows the spot, the people and the order, and it does the asking.

You approve everything

See every message before it goes out. Pick first yes wins or your own order. Take the spot back anytime.

Nobody left hanging

Exactly one person gets the spot. Everyone else who was asked hears it is taken, with a thank you.

Will my contacts get spam?

No. Spareslot only texts people you added and confirmed are happy to hear from it, or who joined your list themselves, and only about a spot you chose to offer. Their first text names you and says what to expect, about 2 to 4 texts a month. Offers go out only between 8am and 8pm. Anyone can reply STOP to opt out.

Does it text from my number?

No. Spareslot texts from its own number, and every offer starts with the organizer's name so people know whose spot it is. It never pretends to be you.

What happens to my contacts' numbers?

Spareslot keeps only the name and number of the people you pick, uses them only to text about the spots you offer, and never shares them for marketing. See Privacy.
