Spareslot, a BuckFifty product published by Favorably Inc., helps an organizer offer a spot they cannot use to people they know, by text.

What Spareslot does

Spareslot texts the people an organizer chose, tells the organizer who said yes, and tells everyone else once the spot is taken. It does not book or pay for anything, and it is an assistant, not the organizer.

Organizers

When you add a person in the app and check the box, you promise that you know that person and that each person you confirm agreed to receive texts from Spareslot about spots you cannot use. Do not add anyone who has not agreed. Do not use Spareslot for marketing, promotions, or messages to strangers.

You are responsible for what you tell Spareslot to offer, including the time, place and any price. You see and approve each offer before it goes out.

Contacts

You get texts only because an organizer confirmed that you agreed, or because you texted JOIN yourself. About 2 to 4 texts a month. Offers arrive only between 8am and 8pm. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. If you opted out before, text START to join again.

Acceptable use

Do not use Spareslot to harass anyone, to send unlawful content, or to text anyone who has asked not to be texted. We may pause an account that does.

Availability and liability

Spareslot is provided as is while it is in beta. We do our best to deliver every text, but carriers can delay or drop messages, and we cannot promise that a spot will be filled. To the extent the law allows, Favorably Inc. is not liable for indirect losses from using Spareslot.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. Continuing to use Spareslot after a change means you accept it.
